Mansfield is excited to be joining the EPS team and leading the athletic department through continued success.
“Myself and my wife, Megan, are excited about the opportunity given to us by Dr. Darrow, Enid Public Schools and Enid High School,” said Mansfield. “We are looking forward to the future and continuing the growth and excitement of Enid athletics and development of the student athletes to be exceptional students, athletes and leaders within the school and community.”
Mansfield has been leading student athletes off the field as well, serving as the Freshman Orientation for Student Athletes instructor at NOC-Enid in 2017. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, TX.
Dr. Dudley Darrow, EPS superintendent as of July 1, is enthusiastic for the direction the EPS athletics department is heading in with the addition of Mansfield to the staff.
“I am really excited to have Mr. Mansfield join our Enid Public Schools team, and for him to be leading our EPS Athletic Department,” said Darrow. “Mr. Mansfield comes to us with excellent references from NOC-Enid and certainly knows the Enid community very well. I am confident that he will work hard at this new position, and lead our EPS Athletic Department to future successes.”
Mansfield is married to Megan who has been a Waller Middle School educator since 2014. They are active members of the Enid community and are looking forward to continuing being involved in EPS.
“We love being in Enid, love the possibilities the town, EPS and Enid athletics have to offer, and look forward to an exciting future,” said Mansfield.
